COBRA and HIPAA Compliance

Who has to comply?

Most employers must comply with COBRA if you maintain a group health insurance plan and employ 20 or more full or part-time employees during 50% of the business days in the previous calendar year. HIPAA

applies if you employ 2 or more full-time employees.
